Terms of Service

①Acceptance of Terms.

By accessing or using CommonPeople ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.

②Who We Are.

CommonPeople is the trading name of a sole trader (autónoma) registered in Spain, who provides the services described on this website and is the party you contract with.

Services are provided by Yana Litovinskaya, autónoma · NIE/NIF Z0682080C · Carrer de Bac de Roda 170, 08020 Barcelona, Spain.

③Business Customers Only.

Our services are for businesses only. By hiring us you confirm that you are acting for the purposes of your trade, business or profession, and not as a consumer.

④Description of Service.

CommonPeople is a product design and engineering studio. We work with businesses under a written agreement for each project that sets the scope, price and dates.

⑤Your Content.

You keep all rights to the materials you give us. You grant us a license to use them only to deliver the work you hired us for.

⑥Ownership of the Work.

Once you have paid in full, you own the deliverables we create for you under the agreement — code, design and related materials. Tools, libraries and know-how we already had, or that are publicly available, stay with us or their owners; you may use them as part of the deliverables. We may show the work in our portfolio and on social media unless we agree otherwise in writing.

⑦Limitation of Liability.

CommonPeople shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service, or to any third parties that you interact with through the service.

⑧Refund Policy.

CommonPeople offers a 7 day refund policy for our paid services. If you are unsatisfied with our service, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase only when no work has started on your project. If work has already begun, refunds will be pro-rated based on the current daily rate. To request a refund, email hi@withcommonpeople.com from the address you used when you hired us. Please note that refunds may take up to 30 business days to process through our payment provider, depending on your payment method.

⑨Embedded Squad.

The minimum term is three months; after that, either side can end it with 30 days’ notice. Teardowns and Sprints run to their agreed end date.

⑩Governing Law.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

⑪Changes to Terms.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page.
